Peter you can buy a "vlotter" in a local hardwarestore like the gamma or praxis.
For the diamond drill you can look at a v Enckevort or boels (for hire).
These shops are localized in a radius of 20km's from your city ;)

Thank you Duncan. I will check these out too. It's good to know there are options. Being in a different country, well even a different continent, sometimes makes me feel like I am mentally handicapped. It's hard to find the things you need when you don't even know what to call them.

Fantastic.. and yes there is a Praxis and a Gamma just around the corner from my home, but I never heard of v Enckevort or boels before.

v. Enckevort is located on the industrial side of Maastricht in the beatrixhaven.
Boels is located in Sittard. but they don't have a diamond drill for glass :(
